Nick Blackwell Speaks Publicly On Social Media For First Time Since Eubank Fight
In some great news for the boxing community today, UK middleweight Nick Blackwell has spoken publicly on social media for the first time since his well publicised fight with Chris Eubank Jr, and he appears to be in great spirits.
Nick Blackwell was involved in a brutal fight with British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr recently where after the fight, Nick was unfortunately seriously injured which required him to be placed in an induced coma.
However in true boxer fashion, Nick battled back and came out of the coma in flying colours and was pictured sitting up and smiling with friends and family by his side.
Today, speaking for the first time publicly on social media since the horrific night in the ring, Nick spoke positively and had this to say on both Twitter and Facebook:
This will come as good news for boxing fans who have been keeping a keen eye on this story in recent weeks, where after the worst was initially feared – it now looks like Nick is on his way to a full, speedy recovery.
