Earlier this week it emerged that the Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight championship rematch would take place in Manchester in the UK on July 9th, but full TV details were not quite clear. Until now that is.
During the week we reported that the initial story on the date and country location of the fight, had been broken by Tyson Fury’s trainer Peter Fury on Twitter.
But now the full picture has become more clear.
Tyson Fury will put his WBO, WBA (Super), IBO and Ring Magazine heavyweight titles on the line against Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitschko in front a hometown audience in Manchester.
The broadcasting arrangements for the fight on TV were confirmed by both BoxNation and Tyson’s uncle and trainer Peter on Twitter today:
For fans of sport in general, that weekend in July is now shaping up to be one of the most colossal in recent memory, with a bombardment of sporting activity to look forward to:
