We love nothing more than a good boxing themed move at Boxing News and Views, but yesterday’s release of the trailer for ‘Back in the Day’ has us casting some doubts.

There’s been mixed reaction from the boxing community online to it so far, but the film does appear to feature some well known actors and indeed cameos from people in the boxing world, such as Larry Merchant and Mike Tyson.
But the trailer doesn’t exactly inspire you as a boxing fan, perhaps it is because the bar has been raised so high for our tastes on boxing movies over the years, dating back to the legendary Rocky movies.
