Campbell is getting top sparring in the States with Amir Imam as he looks to bounce back from his first defeat in his professional career.


The UK’s Luke Campbell 12-1 (10KO) famously won a Gold Medal at the 2012 Olympic Games. He then turned professional in April 2013 but suffered his first professional defeat to Yvan Mendy back in December just gone.

However, Campbell is now deep in training to make a comeback on March 26th at the Sheffield Arena when he faces Gary Sykes in a 12 round bout for the vacant Commonwealth (British Empire) lightweight title.

Yesterday, Campbell and his trainer Jorge Rubio visited the Dino Spencer GYM to hold an intense sparring session at the 5th St. Gym in South Beach, Miami, Florida.
