Teper Handed 2 Year Ban

Earlier this year (back in July) popular Liverpool heavyweight David Price suffered a second round knockout defeat at the hands of German Erkan Teper in Germany.

However, only very recently it emerged that Teper had tested positive for performance enhancing drugs, that subsequently did not come to the pubic’s attention for quite some time (five months approximately) while Price’s career looked to be in a state of limbo, following such a crushing defeat.

However, Boxing Scene have reported today that Price will at least have some justice, as Teper will now pay a severe price for his actions, with a two year ban – and the fight will also now be changed to a no contest.
