Frank and George Warren Respond To Barry and Eddie Hearn, Reveal Exciting Plans For 2016

In a debate between the rival promoters in recent weeks surrounding exclusivity on Sky Box Office pay per view for boxing content in the UK and Ireland, promoter Frank and his son George (CEO of BoxNation) have responded to recent comments from rival promoters Eddie and Barry Hearn of Matchroom Sport.

In an in-depth interview with Kugan Cassius of IFL TV, the pair go into detail into their side of the story, and give a great behind the scenes insight into how pay per view works, and the internal logistics of such.

George Warren, CEO of BoxNation, also makes an exciting announcement pertaining to new pay per view events that BoxNation are planning in 2016 with Sky Box Office, that will allow Sky viewers to use the red button to download BoxNation pay per views, as opposed to having to sign up on the BoxNation website first.

He also assured current subscribers of BoxNation that they will not be out of pocket whatsoever by the new proposed deal, should it come to fruition (that is currently in commercial negotiations).

Competition is always good in any market place, and such a deal taking place can surely only be good for both the sport of boxing in the UK and Ireland, and for fight fans alike.

Here’s the pair’s chat with Kugan Cassius of IFL TV:
