The boxing world was taken by storm in recent days following Miguel Cotto been stripped of his WBC middleweight title, just days before one of the biggest fights of the year when he takes on Canelo Alvarez.
Cotto was relieved of his belt by the WBC due to been deemed to be not conforming to their rules. Miguel Cotto has hit back at the organisation in an interview with FightHub TV, claiming that their: “greed has to stop.”
It has been alleged that the sanctioning fee for the contest was a whopping $1.1million dollars.
