Former multi-weight champion Oscar De La Hoya has drafted an intriguing adios letter to the now retired Floyd Mayweather, but bizarre in it’s timing, and out and out distain¬†towards the pound for pound king.

The letter goes on in a similar vein, picking apart Mayweather’s propensity, or lack thereof, towards taking risks and chances in his career, along with palpable relief at his retirement from the sport.

It’s hard to say why De La Hoya would have left it this late to really air his true feelings, but whatever the case, it sure has hell makes for compelling reading for fight fans.¬†Mayweather’s response no doubt will be drafted very soon, one would would imagine.
