This weekend sees the return of the man they call “Crusher”.


A buzz around the boxing world always emerges anytime Sergey Kovalev is back in action, and this weekend is no different.

The brick fisted Russian is in the prime of his boxing career at 32, and this weekend’s opponent Nadjib Mohammedi could be in for a world of hurt.

It’s perhaps a slight step down in caliber of opponents for Kovalev, who comes into this fightin red hot form after his last two victories been highly impressive, and coming against established former champions in Jean Pascal and Bernard Hopkins.

Nonetheless, Mohammedi is not a man to be underestimated and no doubt Kovalev has taken his training as serious as ever.
