Adam caught up with undefeated light-welterweight Chris Jenkins, ahead of his showdown with Tyrone Nurse for the British title in Manchester later this month on July 18th.

The fight is one eagerly awaited by UK fight fans for quite some time, and will pit two of Britain’s top 140 lbs fighters against one another at the Manchester arena.

Chris is in excellent form ahead of the showdown, mentioning to us he was in great shape both “mentally and physically”.

With a record of 16-0 (8KO), he has been making waves in the pro game in recent times. He’ll give away some experience and height to the taller (5″11), more seasoned campaigner in Tyrone Nurse, but it’s a challenge he sounds like he’s relishing.

It will be Jenkins’ first outing of the year but will be coming into July 18th with some very positive momentum, having rattled off three successive stoppage victories last year over Jacek Wylezol, Miguel Aguilar and Asan Yuseinov respectively (on top of a fourth points win in 2014.

The 26 year old Welshman has quickly built a growing reputation for himself as a result. Check out our top videographer Adam’s latest fight interview with Chris “Rok’n’Rolla” Jenkins:
