The Mayweather vs Pacquiao circus has well and truly come to town, both men looked extremely relaxed & supremely confident.

Manny chooses to arrive at Mandalay Bay instead of MGM

In a break from tradition, where both fighters who are usually fighting in a big fight at the MGM both turn up at the MGM for their arrivals, team Pacquiao opted to make their grand arrival instead at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino.

Manny was relaxed as ever, smiling for the cameras with not a care in the world, at one point telling the onlooking crowd, “Don’t worry, I will beat Mayweather”.

As confident as we’ve ever seen the Filipino boxing legend in recent times. He was met with huge roars from a crowd that were to put it mildly, ecstatic to see him.

No doubt a large number of fans around the world will be routing for him as the underdog, as he bids to become the first man ever to give Floyd Mayweather his first professional loss in his career.

Here’s a clip from the guys at Fight Hub TV that captured some of the chaos at Mandalay Bay yesterday.

Mayweather makes his grand arrival at the MGM

Floyd made his traditional grand arrival at a place that has now become an almost second home for him, in the MGM Grand hotel and casino.

He has fought there for all 10 of his last fights in a row, stretching back to his first mega pay per view bonanza in 2007 against ‘The Golden Boy’ Oscar De La Hoya.

His entrance was as spectacular as any arrival in recent years for a big fight and has set the stage for the grandness and magnitude of what’s to follow this week, in what will be quite simply a gigantic global sports event, around the world.

Below are some scenes captured by the folks at BoxeoMundial of when Floyd took to the stage, in front of a large and very supportive public crowd for a change.
