Danny Garcia seems to be in a good place mentally ahead of Saturday’s big fight in the Barclay Center against Lamont Peterson

It’s a real toss up on Saturday when Danny Garcia takes on Lamont Peterson at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Garcia has always struck me as a very humble fighter who exhibits a great attitude. He’s made his name through great performances, an exciting fight style and of course, a very colorful father and trainer in Angel Garcia.
It seems to be a partnership that works well. Father trains and does the talking, son listens and does the fighting. Both get a check at the end of the night and both give plenty of value for entertainment in their own ways to the fans.
The Peterson fight is a genuine 50/50 affair and if I had to lean towards someone, I’d probably just give Garcia the edge based on freshness and the need to put in a good performance having not long ago came in for some flack for that highly controversial points win against Herrera.
