In the second instalment of my boxing bets column I’m going to look at three fights across the UK and the US this weekend that perhaps you could include in an accumulator/treble/parlay, a combination of one or all as part of a multi sport accumulator or even look at the different markets individually.

UK Action – Newcastle – IBF Bantamweight Title – Stuart Hall vs Martin Ward

I’d be looking for Stuart Hall to win outright and defend his belt here at best priced 2/7 which certainly would be worth putting on an accumulator/parlay. Perhaps if you were looking for a bit more of a flutter on this fight maybe Hall to win on points to which no odds are available at currently but I’d imagine by tomorrow afternoon you should get evens or better for it, potentially.

US Action – Atlantic City – Vacant NABF Light Welterweight Title – Karim Mayfield vs Thomas Dulorme

This is perhaps the closest fight of the weekend but I just feel that timing is everything in this game and Karim Mayfield’s time is now. I’d be looking for him to get the win outright at best priced 8/11 but if you were looking for a bit more of a long shot punt Mayfield by KO/TKO. Again no odds live on any of the betting sites yet for this but don’t be surprised by tomorrow if you get as high as 3/1 or 4/1 for this. Mayfield can dig and Dulorme has previously been stopped before, could have potential…

US Action – Main Event In Atlantic City – WBO Light Heavyweight Title – Sergey Kovalev vs Cedric Agnew

Cedric Agnew comes into this one with a tremendous unbeaten record (26-0) but for me I can’t see anything more than another crusher win by KO/TKO here to be honest. The man is a wrecking machine and will be highly motivated for this one knowing that he could just be one win away from securing a very lucrative and huge unification showdown with equally big hitting Adonis Stevenson.
